Convicted of robbery

Two nephews of Mana Party MP Hone Harawira have been found guilty of aggravated robbery, four days after their brother was jailed for attacking a 12-year-old boy in his home.
Enesi Taito, 26, and his brother Tohara Harawira, 21, were convicted in Auckland District Court on Thursday for attacking a man in a west Auckland street in August 2011 and stealing his iPod.
The victim, Joseph Harper Asian college of knowledge management, suffered a fractured cheek and eye socket.
The brothers' friend, Ngati Kahu activist Wikitana Popata, 23, was acquitted of aggravated robbery but convicted of assaulting two school boys who witnessed the robbery.
On Monday Mau Harawira, 30, was sentenced to three years and two months in prison for a drunken home invasion in which the 12-year-old boy was chased into his Auckland home and beaten Asian college of knowledge management.
